Agency Principal & Producer

Ken Nolan brings 38 years of industry experience to his role as principal at Canyon Ridge Insurance of Arizona.

Ken has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He serves as a member of the Arizona Chapter of the CPCU Society, of which he is a past president. He also serves as past president and an instructor for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona (IIABAZ).

Ken gets energized by meeting with people and businesses and tailoring an insurance program that meets their unique situation.

Tracy Nolan

Customer Service Department

Tracy's first job was working in her father's insurance agency in northeastern Illinois. She worked at the insurance agency part-time through high school and college, and for several years after college.

She left the insurance agency to work as a teacher in Illinois and then in Mesa, Arizona. She taught elementary grades, and then worked in the Educational Technology Department. She retired from Mesa Public Schools in 2014 and joined the agency full-time in 2015.

Tracy is a licensed Property & Casualty agent. She heads up the Customer Service Department of the agency.

Carla ConwayCISR

Customer Service Representative / Agent

For the last 25 years Carla Conway has been in the role of Customer Service Representative / Agent at Canyon Ridge Insurance. Carla started her career in high school as a legal secretary, which turned into twenty years of working as a paralegal and office manager at various law firms in the Valley.

Carla left the field of law to raise a family and took on a variety of positions in her church and in her children's schools and extra-curricular activities. Once her children were older and more independent, the transition into the insurance industry was an exciting and challenging opportunity.

Carla focuses on meeting the service needs of our CRI customers and is proud to work with high-rated carriers. Outside of the office Carla enjoys hiking, movies, reading, and spending time with her family.

Colby MossCISR

Licensed Property & Casualty Agent

Colby Moss has lived in Arizona since 2011. He has been a licensed Property & Casualty agent since 2019, and a Certified Insurance Service Representative since 2021. Before moving to Arizona, he lived in Kansas, Minnesota, upstate New York, Chicago, and Alaska, so he can relate well to anyone trying to escape the snow.

Everyone has different needs when it comes to insurance. Colby likes taking the time to listen and wants to help you navigate your way through the insurance world. He endeavors to create insurance policies that balance coverage needs with cost considerations.

When away from work, he enjoys spending time at home with his wife and dog, serving at his church, making things in the shop, being a bit of a nerd, and going on hikes and adventures.

Isabel Alvarez

Non-profits Agent

Isabel Alvarez has been working in the insurance industry since 2008. She believes that putting her clients first and maintaining a high level of professionalism on their behalf is what makes clients eager to refer her to their family and friends. Licensed in both property and casualty, she was brought on board as a dedicated non-profits agent.

When she's not on her computer or phone, she and her husband serve as lead pastors of a local church in Phoenix, AZ. They have been happily married since 2011 and have three amazing children. During their seldom free time, they enjoy off-roading and traveling as a family.
